From Football to Documentary Jungle Explorer, Beckham is really something - Beckham went to Brazil to do a documentary special about the Amazon. The said TV special will be shown on BBC One this coming June.

 
 
David Beckham goes to the dense forest of the Amazon to become a rainforest explorer after undertaking a two-week jungle expedition for a BBC documentary about Brazil. The former England captain has been doing a lot of stuff such as cooking, camping and fishing as he and three friends journeyed through the Amazon forest earlier this month for the 90-minute film. Beckham, soon to be seen in a Sport Relief special edition of Only Fools And Horses, headed to the country secretly make a documentary and show the world the natural beauty the Amazon has to offer. He wasn’t there alone as he got accompanies by his friends, Dave Gardner and Derek White, together with filmmaker Anthony Mandler. The unnamed film will be shown on BBC One this June, to tie in with the tournament. Charlotte Moore, the channel's controller, said: 'In this special documentary for BBC One, David Beckham embarks on a top secret expedition to the Amazon that will see him encounter the other side of Brazil and journey through the tropical rainforest, a TV first for the global icon.' BBC Worldwide, the corporation's commercial arm, is handling international sales of the programme which it will be launching at the at the MipTV 2014 international TV sales festival next month. Through the eyes of the Beckham, the world will see life in the jungle, which is something that Beckham haven’t done before. David was pictured looking naturally stylish as he arrived at the airport in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to catch a flight back to the UK on Monday. The 38-year-old former footballer wore a dapper collection of a black leather jacket over a T-shirt, jeans and brown boots as he strolled through the airport - a backpack carelessly slung over one shoulder. David finished the looks with a pair of aviator sunglasses and his trademark cap. His appearance at the airport came as soon as he was named underwear model of the century by renowned fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger. In an interview with TMZ, Tommy said that he has seen all kinds of model before and Beckham is unlike them. Before that, David modeled for Emporio Armani underwear, which is now more famous for displaying his own range for H&M. And Nicolas Winding Refn, who directed one of the most recent campaigns for David's H&M collection, added of the star's appeal: 'David Beckham is an incredible, photogenic, personality”. David went to Brazil not only to attend the carnival, but also to shoot a documentary film, which will be shown on BBC One this June.
