Maria Menounos' new reality show is timely - Rumors has it that Maria is about to leave her current job because of a conflict with fellow co-host Mario Lopez. The rumors are not true since Maria just want to spend more time with her family and she can't do that with her soon-to-be former job.

 
 
Maria Menounos will be having a new reality show, but she needs to leave her current job as the host of Extra to accommodate the new reality show in her schedule. The new job will help to bond more with her family that wants her time. Apparently, her parents want her to settle down and give them grandchildren. This will be the very first time that Maria Menounos is entering the reality show world. The star was very busy with her career since she is not only a television reporter, but is also a best-selling author, actress and sometime professional wrestler. The show is about her life in the real world, which means that viewers will be seeing her and her family having family discussions. Maria’s parents wishes to have a grandchild and they won’t be shy on saying it on national TV either. The first episode centers on marriage and babies, trying to convince the star and her longtime boyfriend to consider their future together. After the first episode, they got a lot of positive reviews. Most of their family friends was surprised to see exactly what they see every day on the show. They love the show and the whole family. Viewers say they can relate to it. A lot of women likes it since it shows how real people reacts t certain situations. Some people think it is hard to talk about marriage and babies in their area. Some even thinks that it is a taboo to talk about those things. And more people are glad that finally, there is someone that can forge a path for them and talks about it. In general, the response that the show is getting is mostly positive. The new reality is just on time and is very timely since there is news that Maria is leaving her job as a co-host of Extra. Contrary to rumors spreading that she was clashing with co-host Mario Lopez on the show, there are no problem between them. Maria leaves on her own terms. In an interview of a friend of Maria with People magazine, she said "She was not fired. She wasn't ousted," the source tells People. "No one is pushing her out. There's no Mario-Maria thing. She has no problem with him. She's fine with her co-host." The source adds, "It was a mutual understanding" between Maria Menounos and Extra to part ways. "She's exploring a few options right now. There was absolutely no drama."
