X Factor band is set to perform at Telford Festival - Union J is going to perform with another band called Lawson at the Telford Festival. The theme of the concert is 80's so expet hear some of your old favorite songs.

 
 
There will be a two day festival, wherein the singers will sing songs that comes from the 80s on Friday August 29. Then on Saturday August 30 Lawson and Union J take the Telford Town Park arena. Alongside them will be up and coming British pop singer-songwriter Tich. Tickets will be available at 10am tomorrow (Friday). Liz Hobbs Group is the event management company that makes the concert possible. Commercial director Caroline Sheppard claimed that both Union J and Lawson are two of the top selling bands today and this concert will be a fantastic event. The guests that will join the two bands aren’t disclosed yet, but the organizers promises that this event will be the talk of the town for a long time. London-based four pieces Lawson started their singing career back on 2012 and was able to get three of their hits to make it to the top five hits and a top 10 debut album Chapman Square. Chapman Square is the place where the four first meet each other and it is also where most of their songs were written. Since then, the band had four sold out tours, which include dates in Los Angeles and New York. The name of the band comes from the surgeon that treated the lead singer and acoustic guitarist Andy Brown. The operation takes around 18 hour marathon and was successful in removing a life threatening brain tumour. Union J, on the other hand wants to follow the footsteps of the other boy band that comes from the same reality show where they come from – X Factor. Now, they are planning to have a new album to follow up their debut album, which was released on Sony Music after their fourth place stint in The X Factor 2012. The group has grown some fans ever since their days on the ITV show. Singer-songwriter Tich - real name Rachel Furner (CORR) – manage to finished a 26-date support slot for James Arthur, and her own headline UK tour. Tich will be promoting her third single ‘Breathe In Breathe Out, with some help from her 100,000 Twitter followers. Tickets are sold via box office on 01952 382382 or you can placed an order online through the web portal www.theplacetelford.com The tickets cost around £35 for adults (£30 for Telford Loyalty Card holders), £30 (£25) for 11 to 16-year-olds, £15 for six to 10-year-olds and under fives free. A family ticket for two adults and two children or one adult and three children costs £99. People with disabilities are free to watch the show.
