X Factor protegee signed a deal with Supermarket giant - Mary goes back on her hometown, Tesco, not to work as a counter girl but to become a superstar. It is the same company that is always been there while she was having a hard times.

 
 
Singer Mary Byrne might be going back to her hometown, Tesco – but not as a counter girl. Recently, she has signed a deal with the supermarket giant to become the sole stockist of her new CD, Magic Of The Musicals. Mary work as a checkout girl before on Tesco. She confessed that last year wasn’t her year since was struggling. Despite the struggles, she didn’t left singing. While doing a charity event, she met Kathy Cullinan, who now co-manages her. Mary claimed that she need to work a lot, especially that her new album is already out. While Mary was mentored on X Factor by pop guru Louis Walsh, he never actually managed her. However, she doesn’t keep an ill feeling over him as she knows that Walsh was always there for her. Adding that, the former X Factor judge never manages anyone. For the past two years, Modest Management has been taking care of her. But, with her home far away from UK, it has been hard to keep up with the contract. They need to go on their separate ways because it is hard for both of them to keep working together. Though, she isn’t singing in the local pubs, her friends remain the same as she still lives in her home town. Some people still recognizes here and would stop by to sing the “A Man’s Man’s World,” which she got known for. But, she never gets upset as she knows that it made her famous. Mary had an affair with a lesbian before, but now she is single and contented living with her daughter Deborah, 27, who she regards as her rock and best friend. She confessed that she is too busy to have someone at her side right now, but if someone would came along and that he is nice then she would go for it. Mary decided to contact Tesco management to make an offer that she knows that they will like. She revealed that the management took the deal when she made a call to them. There were always there for her even when she was undergoing depression. She admitted that singing made her nervous and that she had to take a sip of wine just to relax herself. Since then, she manages to experience lots of great things in her life like meeting the Queen and Neil Diamond. For her, it was the experience of a lifetime.
