He was the first one to go home from the jungles of the outback, but he wasn’t the first one to be evicted from I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! No, that he had made his way back to the UK from the Australian jungle, Brian Conley has made his first public appearance. The 51-year-old comedian seemed to be in good spirits and was supported by his wife Anne-Marie as he attended the press night of the new Bodyguard musical. Conley wore a black tuxedo and bowtie as he posed for photographers while Anne-Marie opted for a chic black and lace dress. It was revealed after Conley quit the show that ITV had pulled him off the programme after he had stopped taking the anti-depressants he had been using during the past 15 years. Speaking on Daybreak after he left the show, Brian confessed that he stopped taking his medication although bosses asked him to continue taking his medicine. He said: 'They said if I did not comply with these regulations then I would not be on the show. It all got very serious when it was legally binding.' However, right after his departure from the show, darts player Eric Bristow confessed that ITV bosses should have spotted the warning signs a lot earlier - especially when he started 'talking gibberish'. He said: 'Brian started to show warning signs two days before. He flipped on day eight. He was talking gibberishly about things and would walk off muttering to himself all the time.' In an interview conducted by MailOnline, an ITV spokesperson said: 'The safety and welfare of our contestants is of paramount importance. All contestants are assessed by independent medical experts before contracts are signed, and again before entering the jungle. We also contact each celebrity's GP. 'Medical personnel are also available 24 hours a day in Australia to provide support if needed, and celebrities are monitored at all times whilst in the jungle. We are confident in our procedures.' Other stars, to attend the Bodyguard event included Des O'Connor and wife Jodie Brook Wilson and Andrew Lloyd Webber and his wife Madeleine, who seem to enjoy themselves as they watched Heather Headley as Rachel Marron, a part made famous by Whitney Houston, and Lloyd Owen as Frank Farmer in the new musical. The performance consists of the hit Dolly Parton track I will Always Love You which was immortalized by Whitney Houston in the 1992 film. The TOWIE stars Sam Faiers and Joey Essex, who did their best to put on a united front, despite the fact that the Joey proposal never happened. The couple was posing up for pictures with Sam's sister Billie in the middle.
