On Saturday, the X Factor will once again return to the TV screen with the hopefuls performing live, but one contestant isn't concerned about her singing ability. According to MailOnline, Carolynne Poole is more worried that she won't stay up on her feet during the crucial first show. In an interview with Gary Barlow, Kye Sones and Melanie Masson the brunette beauty spoke how she fears falling over.  She said: 'You know those few steps that there is, I'm thinking I'm sure I'm gonna see myself falling down them. That's never good on live TV.' But mentor Gary joked that she would get popular if that happens. He joked: 'You'd probably get voted in if you fell over.' The trio was called together yesterday for a press conference ahead of Saturday night's show and it is clear that each contestant hopes to make the most of the opportunity to find fame. Narrating how prep has gone on for the live show Melanie said: 'Good, yeah, really exciting, we've been doing a lot of work this week and we've been put through our paces and it's been really, really enjoyable so I think we're all just kind of ready to go, and want to go on and do it now.' But the over 28 category is well aware that this would be a tough battle since there are many talented acts this Saturday. Carolynne noted: 'In comparison to last year, a lot of the acts that have been picked this year are writers and very creative, so it's not just like people being like, "Yeah, I've decided to sing today." Even if they have had a day job they've been creative in their downtime and song-writing. It's been like that for them so everybody at the hotel is very focused, doing what they would do in their downtime at home.' Melanie added: 'We are all artists in the finals.' The trio and mentor Gary supports the wildcard in their category, Christopher Maloney, to win a place on Saturday's show. Gary explained: 'He's mega. Whenever I've seen him do auditions, crowds love him. They're on their feet. So he deserves a place definitely. We hope he's back. We've left a man, haven't we?' In recent weeks the finalists was given a makeover from the style team, but Gary made sure the changes weren't too much, joking: 'We've give them a bath! It worked a treat.' Melanie explained: 'I think we've been given an upgrade rather than a makeover.' Carolynne said: 'Because we're all more mature, the overs, I think it's probably be a little bit too much if they were to completely change us.' Though, viewers only learned about their fate last weekend, the acts already know they would be performing on the live show for three weeks. Carolynne revealed: 'We've not been able to tell anyone which has been horrendous. We've had messages on our phone that we've been ignoring so that we don't have to fib. But yeah, the build up has been good but now we've only just started so we're just getting into it now.' While the hopefuls wants to go, Gary isn’t rooting to win the show as most fans thinks he is - he really wants the best talent to shine through. He said: 'Obviously it would be brilliant to win, but there's always a side of me that thinks the judges should be competitive, but as long as it's not at the cost of the artists on the stage.' 'That is the main aim of this show - is to get superstars at the end of it, people who are going to sell records all over the world and I wouldn't ever stand in anyone's way if they weren't in my category just because they're not.' X Factor returns live on ITV on Saturday at 8pm.
