Christina Aguilera's last season on The Voice has ended early than expected as his act was voted off last Tuesday. Christina was not surprised as she was expecting that her final protégé in the NBC Talent show getting eliminated prior to the elimination. And on Tuesday, it finally happened as both Dez Duron and Cody Belew sent home on The Voice. 'Working with Christina and singing on this stage has been the greatest moment of my life up until now,' he said. 'Everything happens for a reason; you've got to keep believing.' When Christina got first asked about her reaction if Dez would be kicked out of the talent show, she said: 'It would be unfortunate, of course. But people go on after this show. The good ones always get record deals and remain strong. I will continue to support him, and love him 100 percent, and I'm sure many ladies will out there, as well. 'The bottom line is this show is not about the competition between us coaches - it's about their journey up there and what they take away from here.' Scotsman Terry McDermott also had a nail-biting ending to the show as he was in the final four facing possible elimination. Terry - who earlier put on a realistic-sounding American accent as he joked that his Scots voice was all for show - was among the ones to be eliminated, according to his confident coach Blake Shelton. 'You are a rule breaker, and you tear down walls,' Blake had told him in the build up to the crunch decision. 'I have faith sitting here right now - I hate that they keep putting you down here almost giving you a heart attack, but I think America loves a Scottish accent. I don't think you're going home.' The finalist are now down to six finalists from the initial 64 - along with Terry are Trevin Hunte, Cassaddee Pope, Amanda Brown, Melanie Martinez and Nicholas David. Coach Adam Levine said: 'The truth is they are all capable of winning - all of you guys.' During the show, Amanda Brown and Trevin Hunte paired up to sing Lady Gaga's Marry The Night, with Amanda wearing a short silver dress and a black leather jacket and Trevin dressed in a black denim jack with cut-off sleeves and studded shoulders. Terry McDermott, Nicholas David, Cody Belew and Melanie Martinez teamed up for a group performance of Plain White T's Rhythm of Love; while Cassiddee Pop and Dez Duron sang their rendition of Hate That I Love You by Rihanna and Ne-Yo. But nothing can be more entertaining when Cee Lo had paired up with Kermit the Frog to sing 'It's Not Easy Being Green'.
