Daniel's latest work "The Battle for America 2008: The Story of an Extraordinary Election", which is co-written with Haynes Johnson, who is a Pulitzer Prize winner in 2009 is one of the main reason for his popularity. His wife's name is Nancy Johnson Balz and he is a father of one son.
