Deal Or No Deal save from TV ban temporarily - It looks like that some of Britain TV quiz are going off air soon because of tough gambling restrictions on them.

It looks like that some of Britain TV quiz are going off air soon because of tough gambling restrictions on them. Last month, a gambling restriction, was issued on TV quiz show, which includes Deal Or No Deal and Red Or Black. According to the restriction issued, the two shows may be soon gone as both of those programs lack any element of skill. The warning may result for both Channel 4 and ITV1 pulling out their programmes or moving it to the 9pm watershed. However, as of now, the regulator announced that they are not going to take any actions against any of the show. According to the television source, Gambling Commission should not be taking any action against television programmes. Back in March, the commission told broadcasters that they are going to issue an advice note that reminds them of their legal obligations. The note would oblige all games with prizes, even television shows will need to have an element of skill in them. Upon hearing the stipulation, the producers feared that they are going to spend more than what they are spending right now since they are going to format the show. The warning caused panic among the TV industry. People believed that this is the reason why Bruce Forsyth’s hit Eighties show Play Your Cards Right was back in business. According to the spokesperson of the Gambling Commission, they are still in talk with the stake holders and have come to an agreement that an advice note is not the best way to resolve the issue. They added that the reports about broadcasters being forced to get a gaming license are not true. There were no certainty if any of the programmes had offered concessions to the Gambling Commission. Both parties are still talking about the said issue. Channel 4’s Deal Or No Deal gets most of its audience in the afternoon slot ever since they started in 2005. Viewers like the idea of watching someone who has not had any clue about the box that they choose. A mysterious banker then tries to buy the box for a certain amount. The contestant may or may not sell the box. In ITV’s, In Red Or Black, contestant wins £1 million for just spinning a wheel. As of today, both parties did not want to disclose the details about the discussion. Both Channel 4 and ITV1 do not have any plans on talking about the updates of any ongoing talks.
