Dog act wins Britains Got Talent 2012 - For the first time in the history of Britains Got Talent, the show goes to the dog as Pudsey and his trainer Ashleigh Butler, won the competition.

 
 
For the first time in the history of Britains Got Talent, the show goes to the dog as Pudsey and his trainer Ashleigh Butler, won the competition. The dog act won over the tandem of Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconelli as Ashleigh and Pusey narrowly gets the most votes from the public, leaving Welsh choir Only Boys Allowed in third place. Ashleigh can not say anything after finding out that she had won the £500,000 prize. The 11 acts gave it their best so that they could win the show. The judges can not say anything about all the performances since all of them deserves to win. Ashleigh and her Pudsey performed their tricks to the tune of the Mission: Impossible theme. Simon joked and said that Pudsey trained Ashleigh. Simon then added that they got better and better every week. David enthused that they had outdone their performance the last time that they had performed onstage. As the show progressed, the judges anticipated that it would be a closed call between the tandem of Jonathan and Charlotte against the dog act of Ashleigh and Pudsey. Everyone was surprised at the first act since hosts Ant and Dec announced boy band the return of The Mend in the final. The four-piece sang their rendition of Usher and David Guetta's song Without You. Sam Kelly performed with her own version of Raskall Flatts, Bless The Broken Road. The Welsh dance troupe Nu Sxool was up next, who put on an energetic routine to a mash-up of songs. The youngest singer Molly Rainford sings her version of Beyonce’s version of Ave Maria. She got a standing ovation from all the judges. The band Loveable Rogues with their own song Honest also got a standing ovation from the judges. Latin American dance duo Kai Widdrington and Natalia Javed had a mixed reception from the judges following their performance to Bruno Mars' Runaway Baby. In the VT, Natalia confessed she got concerned about the performance right she injured her calf during rehearsals, which left Natalia seeing a physiotherapist. Alesha got some issues from judging, but she had gone through the hard time with flying color since she got experience coming from the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel. Synchronised swimming group Aquabatique performed in silver and red swimsuits to a mix of various songs from a tank outside the studios. Irish singer/songwriter Ryan O'Shaughnessy, who once joined asThe Voice of Ireland, wowed everyone with his own track No Name. Welsh choir Only Boys Aloud sang a rousing version of Welsh song Calon Lân. Jonathan and Charlotte were the last to sing that night with their own version of The Prayer.
