However, the well-heeled cast members of Made In Chelsea seems to be doing a lot of partying.
One of the stars got suspended for appearing late for the shooting of the reality show, the rest was given a warning for unprofessional behavior.
Diamond-mining heir Francis Boulle, one of the programme’s one of the first cast members got suspended right after he arrived two hours late for filming.
That is not the only offense of the former boyfriend of Emma Watson as he also failed to turn up for a photoshoot in order to promote the third series. The third series will continue the lives and loves of a handful of wealthy young residents of London’s sought-after SW3 postcode.
Stars of the said show said to turn up on set drunk or hung over, most of the time they are coming straight from a night out and using the ‘green room’ – an area set aside for them to use between filming – to catch up on lost sleep.
Last year, Eton-educated Spencer Matthews, 23, confessed that he arrived for filming still drunk while shooting a scene ending his relationship with girlfriend Funda Onal.
Good for him that his drunken state translated as looking sad. Though, he was only sitting on his hands, it makes him look like he cared.
Last summer confectionery heiress Millie Mackintosh, 24, got suspended by producers following the time that she ignores a ban on taking holidays during filming.
The latest suspension got unveiled in an email that comes from production manager Heidi Birkett last week. The email addressed to the cast. The email said that those who turn up late are not professional. Therefore, they are not going to tolerate such action and will give appropriate punishment for arriving late.
Ms Birkett warned added that the punishment could include getting left out of future episodes or if they have done it over and over again then they are going to be removed from the casting.
Now, this has become a reality for one cast as he got suspended for arriving late in the filming of the show.
Made In Chelsea got launched last spring so that they are going to be the rival of the famous reality show, The Only Way Is Essex. Since the launching, of Chelsea, it has achieved cult status, though, though the ratings are still small.
