Good Morning America is ABC's early morning show, it airs for two hours each morning and features topic such as news, talk, weather and special stories. Good Morning America made its debut in 1975 and has been running ever since. This morning show has gone up and down in ratings ever since it's beginning but it has always remained second to NBC's Today. Good Morning America has also had a lot of hosts over the years and is currently hosted by Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos, but by next year I am almost sure they will have a new host for this show. This doesn't mean their programming is not good, Good Morning America is a well put together program and the hours of work put into it shows. Everything from lighting to makeup, commentary to news is done with perfection, and this program really lives up to the ABC Network name. Although Good Morning America has been around forever, they still manage to keep up with a lot of the newer shows. Many critics are amazed that they have not gotten lost in oblivion, but still say that their feature depends on their adaptation to newer means of getting news across. If you pay a visit to their shows website you will find all kinds of useful information on subjects such as: Money, Health, Entertainment, Parenting, Pets, Books, etc. I have to give ABC credit; they really did a good job of organizing everything. Too many times I visit the website of a major network or show only to find everything impossible to find, information scattered everywhere, or crappy articles from freelance writers who do not proof read. But with ABC's Good Morning America website you will find all information neatly cataloged and organized. The main thing I like about Good Morning America is the layback feel to their programming. The hosts are never overpowering, so this show is the perfect thing to get you up in the morning. If you can't find time to watch this program in the morning, you can check out their website for excerpts from the show or you can tune into the XM Radio station Take Five. The edition of Good Morning America on Take Five is hosted by Hilarie Barksy and airs Monday to Saturday, 8-12. All-in-all I give this show a 7/10, if there was a perfect news show out there it would be Good Morning America.
