Jennifer Ellison’s fans got worried when the star suffered a blow from the head on last night ITV’s reality ice dancing show. Following the injury that happened during the technically-challenging Scorpion Kick, Jennifer Ellison was seen leaving the television studios with her blonde hair covered in blood. The former Brookside actress grabbed her head as she was driven home by her husband Robbie Tickle right after the action-packed evening. However, Jennifer, 28, was quick in assuring fans that she is 'absolutely fine' right after the injury, who admits she was 'glued together' by medics. In a message that she posted on her personal site, she claimed that she is absolutely fine. Her fans doesn’t need to worry about her anymore as the Dancing on Ice staffs has glued her back together. She is feeling a little dizzy, but she believes that things will be better tomorrow. She thank her followers for their support and added that she hopes that she won’t be doing the same routine again. Her skating partner Daniel Whiston, who was seen rushing to Jennifer's aid right after she managed in completing the routine, also talk about the dangerous kick. He claimed that Jen does a dangerous scorpion kick at the end of the routine. She had seen Jen threwing her leg high and it touches the back of her head. The next thing that he saw is that Jen’s head is now covered on blood. Dancing On Ice judge Katarina Witt admitted that she admired the stars of the show for being fearless. She concluded that all of them are brave. Her heart goes out while seeing Jennifer getting a blow in the back of the head. Despite Jennifer's injury last night, the brave actress persevere to finish the routine, which earns her highest score of the competition so far, 19. Judge Robin Cousins explained that as a dancer, the last thing she would think about is what’s on the end of her boot. People tend to forget that the skates make your feet the heaviest part of your body and just doing a little bit of a flick, makes everything go a lot harder. Jayne Torvill added that the adrenaline tonight went a bit too far. It shows the real danger the of ice skating. Do note that this is not the first time that Jennifer got injured on the show. The former soap actress got injured as she was practising the Spinning Fish lift a few weeks ago.
