Jonathan Antoine does not want to be compared to Susan Boyle The whole thing was like a deva ju since this is the second time that some badly dressed person had showed up and impressed the panel of judges of “Britain Got Talent”. Though, the producers of the show want Jonathan to be, like Susan Boyle, the teenager clearly wants to be known as his own - not to be compared with anyone. He admitted that like to appear on the ITV reality show since he wanted t prove that he got a talent in singing. He added that he wanted to prove that a person is not just a mere body as it is more than that. Prior to the audition, he had suffered a nervous breakdown because of his schoolmate telling him that he is too fat. However, the teenager confessed that he had fun singing in the talent show as he wanted to be around with all the people in the talent show. Aside from that, he had been seeing a psychiatrist so that they could help him to overcome whatever may be thrown at him during the competition. Sources claimed that the teenager had passed all medical and psychological tests prior to participating in the contest. He was not too confident since he was always bullied at school, but now that he finds out that he got a talent then it would surely boost his confidence. Judge Alesha Dixon expresses it as ‘world class’, and show guru Simon Cowell say that he is unbelievable. Jonathan admitted that he never knew that he got talent until four years ago. His voice broke back then and had been taking some music lesson. E is also getting some boost from his singing partner, Charlotte, a 16-year-old student at the Arts Educational school in Chiswick, West London. ‘He revealed that his friend has help him to overcome his fear. He then revealed that Charlotte is the one person that gave him confidence to join the reality show. Since, they have discovered a new talent; it may help the ITV reality show to outshine their rival BBC show in the TV rating battle. In an apparent dig at Cowell’s approach, The Voice presenter Reggie Yates said before the showdown: ‘I think that as a country of television fans we’re past that humiliation thing.’ The Voice judges such as Tom Jones, Jessie J, Danny O’Donoghue and Will.i.am cannot see the singer perform, and all they can do is to base their decision on vocal ability alone.
