Laurie Dhue Laurie Dhue is a dynamic television presenter formerly with the Fox network where she worked from the year 2000 to the year 2008. She hosted two prime shows including Geraldo at Large and the Fox Report. The two shows still air on Saturdays and Sundays. In Geraldo at Large Laurie's job had been to act as both anchor and correspondent reporting on matters surrounding current affairs. Essentially, this show which is timed during prime time evening news is regarded as a supplement for human-interest stories more concerned on current affairs and its daily effects on people than typical straight news. Laurie Dhue originally featured as the Sunday presenter of the Fox Report before she assumed full role in the weekend edition of the program. Apart from being on the mainstream news program hosting, Laurie has also appeared in different shows in other television networks. She had a long stint in CNN (Cable News Network), where she began her career. From 1990 to 1999, she hosted such weekend shows as CNN Saturday and CNN Sunday, The World Today and World View. She began her career back in 1999 when she worked for MSNBC anchoring the show Newsfront before being promoted in the year 2000 as host of the network's Special Edition program. Though Laurie Dhue has also featured in other areas as a reporter with the various television networks she made her name best known while she was still on Fox. She won millions of followers and admirers during that time. The blond presenter also appeared regularly on such shows as Bill O'Reilly and Geraldo Rivera. She also appeared as a staunch public speaker which endeared her to many public speaking functions. Public speaking is her current career since she left the world of television two years ago. She has appeared in many special functions all around the world and primarily in the United States and has been a key figure in the success of these events through her influence as a known TV personality. Laurie Dhue was born on the 10th of February, 1969 in North Carolina. She was once married to former husband Thomas Colquitt. Interestingly, she studied Bachelors in Political Science before she decided onto becoming a television journalist. She did her internship in the WSB-TV based in Atlanta, Georgia and hosted the intermittent Today program during Saturday and Sunday for NBC television. She left the Fox Network in September, 2008.
