Lester Kinsolving - In the political world of the United States Charles Lester Kinsolving is a well known face. Born in 1927 in New York City he works for the WCBM radio in Baltimore as a political talk radio host. He is known more famously as Lester Kinsolving.

 
 
In the political world of the United States Charles Lester Kinsolving is a well known face. Born in 1927 in New York City he works for the WCBM radio in Baltimore as a political talk radio host. He is known more famously as Lester Kinsolving. However his most famous role is probably for World Net Daily as a White House Correspondent. In fact is the only person that is both a radio talk show host at a member of the White House Press Corps. He is also quite a religious person and in fact was a priest for the Episcopal Church up until 1978. He has also done a stint as a reporter and columnist in the 1970's for the San Francisco Examiner. In fact he was the first person to report on the Peoples Temple cult led by Jim Jones Unfortunately his career took a turn for the worse in 1977 following a report from Walter Pincus. Pincus wrote for the Washington Post that Kinsolving had accepted around $2,500 worth of stock as a bribe to report positively on South Africa. At the time South Africa was still under apartheid. Kinsolving is a columnist that is well known for his opposition to gay rights and gay rights organizations. He puts this down to his religious beliefs. It is thought that this might have been this opinion which caused his most famous exchange. In 1982 during a White House press conference where he confronted Larry Speakes about the AIDS epidemic. This caused out cry because the epidemic was largely unknown and unspoken about at that time. He has appeared in two films, in which he played the same role. This was in both Gettysburg and Gods and Generals portrayed as William Barksdale. Lester has been married for a number of years to Sylvia Crockett. The former queen of her University graduating class has been known to come on air during Lester's show under the alter ego "The B.D." (for "The Berkeley Democrat"). They have two daughters, a son and three grandchildren. They now live in Virginia. Greg's youngest daughter has recently penned a biography all about the life and times of the famous American. Entitled "Gadfly, The Life and Times of Les Kinsolving-White House Watchdog" it is due to be released in the Spring of May 2010.
