Lynne Koplitz - Born on 13th June 1969, Lynne Koplitz is an American stand-up comedian and actress. She was born in Long Island, New York, however she was raised in Sarasota, Florida.

 
 
Lynne Koplitz Born on 13th June 1969, Lynne Koplitz is an American stand-up comedian and actress. She was born in Long Island, New York, however she was raised in Sarasota, Florida. Koplitz is known from hosting Change of Heart which was run by Telepictures, Later on NBC as a guest host, Life and Style from Sony pictures and also co-hosted How to Boil Water on the Food Network. Away from her television hosting career, Koplitz has also appeared on numerous comedy programs including Comedy Central run Premium Blend. Lynne also performed at the Comedy Festival of Montreal. Before her television and comedy career took off, Lynne Koplitz gained a BA degree at Troy University, Troy in Theatre Arts in 1989. It was here that she became a member of Chi Omega's 'Lota Kappa Chapter'. In addition Koplitz performed in a group theatre production in Tennessee prior to moving to New York. On the History Channels 'History of the Joke' program, Koblitz became a regular comedian contributor alongside Lewis Black. Currently, Lynne is appearing in a series of adverts for the institution where she graduated – Troy University and is also featuring for a Midol advertisement in the ad series 'What's Funny About That Time Of The Month". Additionally, Koblitz can be seen on the IFC network in Z Rock (19 episodes between 2008 – 2009) and is the co-host of 'Star Talk Radio Show' alongside the well known physicist Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson which airs on Sunday in Los Angeles and Washinton on the KTLK and WHFS networks respectively. As well as Lynne's broadcasting and comedy talents, she also is a writer, preparing her own sketches as well as contributing to the programs that she is part of, whether for comedy or acting. Lynne was voted as the hottest female comic by Internet poll unleashed. In addition 92% of voters said that her comedy was 'very good'. Koblitz became the first female comedian since Roseanne Barr to receive a television development deal with Tom Werner from Warner Bros. At 39 Lynne is continuing both her television acting, hosting and comedy career and can be found on various networks and the comedy circuit. Koplitz's mother works for Barnum and Bailey who train circus animals such as chimpanzees and her father was a chef.
