Despite the fact, that Marcus Collins did not win the ITV reality shows X Factor. Marcus keeps a smile up as he got a help from one of his friend, Craig Colton. At the after-party, Craig cheered the 1st runner up with a hug and tomfoolery for photographers outside the Corinthia Hotel. The pair messed around for the cameras, which ensures a smile, stayed on Collins' face during that night. Craig was popular among all the contestants. Some of his close friends at the reality show are Marcus, Sophie Habibas and Janet Devlin in particular. Aside from his friend Marcus also got the support of his mother and his boyfriend David. While Marcus was on stage, he got shaken up as he did not win the competition. He claimed that he is proud of himself, the girl deserves it. His mentor Gary added: 'I'm so proud of him, he is been a brilliant contestant, well done.' Speaking later on the Xtra Factor, Marcus said: I'm proud of myself. I've worked so hard, and I've achieved something. I'm so proud. Gary told Marcus that he can ask him for advice any time he wanted. He added that he is going to support Marcus throughout his career. Marcus started the show, singing his favorite track of the series, Higher and Higher. He claimed that the performance was a real moment for him on the show. He gave his best to that performance. The song inspires him every time he hears it. He added that ever since he was a child, he got dreams that he would be a singer. It would mean so much for him if he could win the reality show. After the performance, Louis praised him by saying that he is born as little pop star. Tulisa believed that it had been the best song of the series. An emotional Kelly added that Marcus lifted the crowd that evening higher and higher. Gary says he is going to ask for the nation to vote for Marcus. Simon Cowell gives a damaging blow to Marcus's hopes last night, when he announced via Skype that he was a supporter of Little Mix. The music mogul said on the Xtra Factor that he had picked the group since this would be the first time that the show is going to have a group to win the contest. It is a milestone for the company. He believes that something remarkable is going to happen.
