People who are hoping to participate in the upcoming reality show, The Biggest Loser, comes to KSL-TV studios at the Triad Center about 2 a.m. Saturday so that they could be one of the lucky few that competes in the reality show. It is easy to tell that the show is a hit since around 160 were present at the front door at 9:30 a.m. Jaime Ellis was lucky enough to hold a promotional VIP ticket, allowing her to show up at 9 a.m. and be among the first group of interviewees at 9:30 p.m. Others were not as fortunate as they have waited at the Triad in the dark at 2 a.m. until there were enough people in the park by then they feel that it is safe to park their cars and start a line at about 3:30 a.m. One of the people, who were in the line, says they come from Denver since yesterday. Joan Perez said that she told her husband that the third time would be the luckiest time for her. Perez is among the first group that completed the initial screenings. She got delighted to meet several people. Jennifer Owen has the same thought while she was in line. She added that she wanted to wear a T-shirt that cited that 'The third time is a charm'. Owen was not alone as she got accompanied by her sister, and friends. All of them got the same goal that day. They all wanted to be part of the reality show. The way people are talking in the line, it is clear that these people are not here for the first time as they are sharing their experience while auditioning for the first time. Aside from that, all of them are advocates of the reality TV show, broadcasted by NBC network. April Hoagland, a friend of Owen said that the show is inspiring as they get into deeper life issues. Owen said that people, who tried to lose weight before likes the show as the show inspires them to become more active in their life. She had it compared with her experience in the military, where most of them had wished that they should not have gone through it. Owen and her friends agree that people tend to look at the outside more, rather than the inside of a person, also the fact that most retailers are not selling plus size bikinis.
