This is a sad day for the X Factor judges' as one of their favorite bands got removed from the competition the other night ahead of the show's return last night. Rough Copy, a three man band from South London were axed from the show right after producers found that one of the members of the band has an expired visa. The group made up of Sterling Ramsay, 24, Joseph Thomas, 25, and Kazeem Ajobe, 23, were all ready to take part of the show after they wowed the judges and made it into bootcamp and were on their way to the judges houses. Kazeem, who was a native from Nigeria, tried to renew his visa so that he could stay a little longer, but it is still under process as of now. If ever, Kazeem visa got renewed, it would be too late, and they can’t head to the judges' houses. In an interview with the Daily Mirror, Rough Copy said: 'We are gutted that we had to leave the competition as we were having such a great time.' Kazeem added that if ever he got his visa sorted, the boys would again compete in the ITV Talent show, in 2013. Upset, the group headed to their Twitter page to plead with judges, Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos. They want the judge to reverse the decision. They tweeted: '@officialtulisa THERE MUST BE A WAY!.. T T' Another message read: '@GBarlowOfficial UNHAPPY!!!....GAZZA!!' The boys also wrote: 'IT IS WHAT IT IS!!.. UNLESS WE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!.........R.C 4 LIFE!!' A source told the newspaper: 'It's a total disaster. The band's progress into the finals was almost a formality and producers were excited about them. But they found out about the visa situation just as they were organising flights'. 'They have no option but to axe them from the competition and replace them with another band which has proved a massive headache.' The source also clarified that checks on immigration and visas carried out prior to the live shows, and no sooner because of logistics. The other night a spokesperson for X Factor, told the Mirror: 'Rough Copy has been withdrawn from The X Factor as one of the groups has a visa application currently being considered by the UK Border Agency.' This wasn't the first time that it happened, two years ago viewers' favourite Zimbabwe-born talent was turned down by Cheryl Cole in favour of Katie Waissel and Cher Lloyd. Rumors arise that Cheryl was dictated not to pick the Zimbabwe-born talent as her visa already expired.
