The Voice judges prepare their acts to go head to head - Since the beginning of The Voice, there has been tension among the judges as they fought to get their teams complete.

Since the beginning of The Voice, there has been tension among the judges as they fought to get their teams complete. This weekend is still the same as the judges goes head to head. They are competing against each other so that they could win the ratings war and beat Simon Cowell’ Britain Got Talent. All the mentors already got their teams completed. Now the tension even rises as there is a lot of responsibility and pressure in order to ensure the public like their performance enough so that they could keep them on the show. Based on the report of Radio Times, in an early and unexpected twist, four acts are going to be eliminated from The Voice in the first week of the live stages. After the final were left at this weekend's battle rounds, only a total of 12 of them will be saved by the public. The mentors must send one of their acts to go home so that final 16 performers can make it to the next round of the competition. The programme has the same format of the X Factor uses and will take place over two days with the results show, which airs on a Sunday. The first live performance will be aired on 27 April at 7pm and can be seen on live television for 90 minutes as the rest of the first results show follows on 28 April. All of the mentors have some help with some experts from the music industry so that it could help give their stars that extra edge on the show, which include voice trainers, stylists, and vocal coaches. Sir Tim Jones enlisted his good friend and former lead singer of Catatonia, Cerys Matthews, and Jessie J roped in Ana Matronic of Scissor Sisters. Will.i.am has been working close with his acts even when he is behind the camera. Jessica Bridge said to the Metro: 'Punters are only interested in Jessie J and Will.i.am's acts and the others might as well throw in the towel now. Last week, The Voice once again defeated its rival show Britain Got Talent on the ratings war. As the two shows go head to head, BBC’s singing contest had brought in twice as many viewers as Simon Cowell’s ITV talent show between 8pm and 8.20pm. BBC believes that the earlier time slot will give them an advantage over their competitor’s show. Critics also believed that The Voice got an advantage because of the earlier time slot.
