The Forgotten is a television crime drama show that airs on ABC. This program premiered in the late part of September 2009 and its first season which is currently in progress. Right now this program is set to air a total of 18 episodes. The Forgotten features the acting talents of Christian Slater, Michelle Broth, Rochelle Aytes, Heather Stephens, Anthony Carrigan, and Bob Stephenson with a cast like this I have a feeling that this program is going to be something pretty awesome. Jerry Bruckheimer serves as one of the executive producers for this show, there is no need for me to spend time explaining who he is. If you do not know; do a quick Google search and I am sure that will jog your memory. The Forgotten is basically about a group of amateur detectives, together they form a group known as the Forgotten Network. Here they put together cases from whatever evidence they are able to find in an attempt to solve the murders of unidentified subjects aka Jon or Jane Does. Most of the team members have special reasons for joining, for example team member Alex Donovan (Christian Slater) is a former cop who joined after his daughter was kidnapped. For the short time this program has been on the air it has received mixed reviews. Barry Garron from the Hollywood Reporter is part of the group of people that hate this show. He was quoted as saying "if credibility were an issue, this series would have died before the end of the pitch session". Yes I do agree that this program is not 100% authentic but it is still a lot more authentic than other programs of the same genre such as CSI. On a happier note the viewership of this program has been pretty good; on average The Forgotten receives 7 million views per episode. All things considered I think this is a pretty good program. I could be wrong, but I guess we will just have to wait and find out in the coming months. If you would like to watch this program head over to ABC or you can log onto their website will you will find character information, cast information, a place to discuss episodes with other viewers, as well as full length episodes for your viewing pleasure. Overall I give The Forgotten a 7/10, so what are you waiting for? Don't just take my word for it check out this program for yourself today.
