The Late Late Show is just like how the name sounds; this is CBS's latest/earliest show. The Late Late Show airs a little after midnight and is filmed in front of a live audience. This show is produced by David Letterman's Worldwide Pants Incorporated and is shot in high definition. The Late Late Show first aired in January of 1995 and has since had three hosts; these hosts have taped over 2,900 episodes combined. Episodes usually include jokes, sketch comedy, and a whole lot of improvisation. As of 2005 Craig Ferguson has been hosting this show, but he does not always tell jokes; since he has hosted this program there have been a few episodes with a more serious theme; for example he held a eulogy for his father on this show. The Late Late Show can also be classified as a variety show; sometimes Craig brings on guests like the Myth Busters and another time he will have just a bunch of funny skits or random no name actors who sit in the audience and pop up participating in his jokes. Craig's is not new to the comedy scene; he started his own comedy show in the UK before taking his show on the road and finally landing his job on the Late Late Show. In addition to writing and staring in many films Craig has also written two books and he is one of the fastest upcoming persons in the comedy world. If time should last I am sure his name will become just as common as Jim Carry, Adam Sandler, or any other house hold name. The Late Late Show is by far one of the funniest shows I've seen in a long time. Most other late night shows are just something to keep you awake, but this one will keep you laughing from start to finish. Craig Ferguson does a real good job of keeping everybody entertained, even if a joke does not go right at first he always seems to be able to bring it back to where everyone thinks it was planned. Most of the shows on CBS are junk, but this show really makes up for all the crappy ones I've seen on the network. If you are somebody like me who does not go to their bed until 3am; I strongly suggest that you check out Craig Ferguson's Late Late Show.
