The New Adventures of Old Christine is a television program that airs on CBS. This sitcom premiered in mid 2006 and has since run for 4 complete seasons; The New Adventures of Old Christine is currently in its 5th season. By the end of the current season the episode count for this show will be 89, each episode is half an hour long including commercial breaks and is broadcasted in 480i and 1080i. The show was created by Kari Lizer and stars Julia Louis, Clark Gregg, Hamish Linklater, Trevor Gagnon, Emily Rutherfurd, Tracia O'Kelly, Alex Kapp Horner, and the great Wanda Sykes. With a cast like this I am sure I do not have to try and convince you that this program is awesome. The New Adventures of Old Christine is basically about the life of Christine Campbell; she was married to an irresponsible man named Richard. Since their devoice Richard has found himself another partner who happened to share the same name as his old wife; this is where the show's name comes from. Although they are divorced Richard and old Christine still share a pretty ok relationship, and after a while new Christine is ok with this. As you can see this sitcom is pretty interesting, I really like it because most other TV programs just focus on the times when relationships go bad and stay bad, but not this show. This show has been doing pretty good in viewership and rating for the five seasons it has been on air. On average The New Adventures of Old Christine receives 10 million views per episode. In addition 7/10 is the average rating given to this show. The New Adventures of Old Christine has also been nominated for some pretty amazing awards and so far it has taken home three of these awards, if this program lasts a little while longer I am sure they will grab a few more. All things considered I think this is a pretty great show, head over to CBS on Wednesdays 8/7c to watch this awesome show. If you have not seen any of the previous seasons you can buy the DVD release of season 1-4, or you can head over to their website where you will find all kinds of extras like cast information, season recaps, photos, and full length episodes for your viewing pleasure. CBS has really done a great job with this show so go check it out.
