Jessica Sanchez made millions of people happy Tonight episode of the Fox Network reality show gave the last remaining contestant might be the hardest task ever since they are going to sing Stevie Wonders and Whitney Houston classics. Classic hits, which make them, achieve their status right now. The hopefuls were of course divided into two groups since the boys will be singing one hit from Stevie’s hit, while the girls are going to choose one song from Whitney’s song hits. However, Jessica Sanchez impressed everyone else as she had brought justice to Whitney’s song in the ‘The Bodyguard’. She nearly brought the house down as she sang the classic hit, ‘I Will Always Love You’ of the now deceased star. Joshua Ledet did start the show with his own rendition of ‘I Wish but Elise Testone brought the mood down when she didn’t impress the judges with Whitney’s ‘I’m Your Baby Tonight’. Jennifer Lopez noted that Whitney is like a beast whenever she is performing. She doesn’t add anymore statement to what she had said since it is very clear what she meant by saying those words on the poor contestant. It seems that the late singer's vocals are not meant to be equal to that of the contestant. Shannon Magrane got the same fate as she has trouble on catching her breath while singing the song, ‘I Have Nothing’. Steven Tyler told her that she think that the girl’s nerves got the better of her. He then added that she just crashed and burned. Even the beautiful voice of Jeremy Rosado's struggled on tonight’s episode of American Idol. He had chosen the song, Ribbon in the Sky, which was the song that Stevie Wonder sings on the funeral of Whitney Houston. The 'gentle giant' Jermaine Jones was not his usual self tonight as he wasn’t able to give justice to the song, Knocks Me Off My Feet. Heejun Han manage to gave his best in his own rendition of the song, All in Love Is Fair, and Colton Dixon ably sailed through Lately, which look every bit the pin-up. Randy claimed that he doesn’t like the first part of the song, but Colton manage to change his heart with the last eight bars. He then added that the young man was simply flawless. Jessica Sanchez and Hollie Cavanagh did a nice rendition of their song choices. Jessica unexpectedly surprises everyone when she sings the song, I Will Always Love You, while Hollie gave an inspiring performance of All the Man That I Need. Randy said that Jessica chooses the hardest song for the night. Yet, she simply sings it like she was the original. Steven added that she make 40 million people cry when she sang the song. Skylar Laine gave his own version of ‘Where Do Broken Hearts Go’ as the song got a taste of country ballad. While Erika Van Pelt on I Believe in You and Me gave the judges goose bumps. DeAndre Brackensick proves that he got a voice when he sang the ‘Master Blaster’, which he sang by using a reggae tempo. Tyler praised him for being creative. Phillip Phillips chooses ‘Superstition’ which he gave a rock makeover. Tomorrow’s show will be the announcement on who will be going home and those who will be staying for another round of the contest.
