Every little boy dreams of playing in a football stadium which houses one of the country's most popular teams. But this wasn’t the case with Rylan Clark, the X Factor wannabe was recently given the opportunity to take part in Soccer AM's infamous Crossbar Challenge at Brentford FC’s Griffin Park on Wednesday, there was only one thing he was worried about - how he would look on camera. The ITV talent show contestant was more interested on fixing his face with a compact and huge brush ahead of taking part in the task, which sees celebrities try to hit the crossbar by kicking a football from the halfway line. When most of the contestants wore a T-shirt bearing the slogan 'Keep Me Nut Daan', Rylan opted for the ladies' tight vest top instead of the baggy version meant for the male contestants. He paired the top with a pair of baggy grey sweatpants, a black cardigan and a blue backwards baseball cap. Rylan wasn’t comfortable when he ran up to the ball to kick it for the challenge, and threw his hands up in astonishment after taking the kick. No w\one knew who won the challenge, the results airs on Sky Sports 2 HD or Sky One from 10am on Saturday. All the contestants play in the challenge, which was kicked off at 8.30am by Soccer AM's Rocket, with some having more pleasure than others. Manchester United fan Kye Sones said: 'I’m a huge fan of Soccer AM so coming down to compete in Crossbar Challenge was a dream! 'Rocket and the lads are funny guys, and it was good to get onto a pitch for a kick-around in such a busy week ahead of the second live show. I’m gutted I missed the crossbar, but I think I definitely would have got it with a second go!' And single mother Jade Ellis, who supports Charlton Athletic, said: 'It was great to do something a bit different this morning. 'The early start was well worth some time outdoors, and even though we’re not the best footballers, everyone really gave it their best effort. Some were definitely better than others!' It has been a busy week for the X Factor contestants, who are getting ready for their second week of live shows this weekend. It is believed that the hopefuls is going to be singing songs from the Love and Heartbreak category, with all of them hoping not to end up like last week's eliminated contestant Carolynne Poole.
