Criminal Minds is an American television drama; this show falls under the subcategory of Police Procedural Drama and Thriller. Criminal Minds made its debut on the CBS network on September 22nd 2005 and has since run for 4 complete seasons; the show is currently in its 5th season. The show has already covered 106 episodes and more than likely there will be a 6th season. This show was created by Jeff Davis and stars Mandy Patinkin, Thomas Gibson, A.J. Cook, Shemar Moore, Paget Brewster, Matthew Gray Gubler, Joe Mantegena, Lola Glaudini, and Kirsten Vangsness. Each episode is about 45 minutes long without commercial breaks and is aired in both standard definition and HD. Criminal Minds is basically your regular police drama with the exception that this show focuses on the criminal instead of the crime; this can be seen even within the name. Overall this show has gotten a pretty good amount of viewers; on average Criminal Minds receives 13.5 million viewers per season. The largest amount of viewers this show has ever received for a single episode was on January 29th 2007 following the Super Bowl, the show was viewed by over 26 million viewers who were still around their TV sets; some celebrating, others angry. This show has become so popular that Legacy Interactive has made a video game based on it. In the game you will be able to solve murders by looking over crime scenes and finding clues; just like what is done in the real show. I think this game will be quite interesting but I do not have high hopes because most video games made off of television shows are pretty crappy and I hardly see the sense in buying them. But when it comes out check it out for yourself. All things considered I think this is a pretty decent program. If you are into crime or police dramas you are more likely to find this show pretty interesting. This is one of the many great shows on CBS so if you would like to watch it head over there, or you can tune into A&E or ION Television here you will find syndicated episodes of this show. After you have watched the show head over to their website where you will find all kinds of information about the cast, clips of upcoming episodes, a place where you can talk to other viewers, and much more. So what are you waiting for? Check out Criminal Minds today.
