Entertainment correspondent Jason Kennedy turns 30 next year and has spent most of his life chasing a love of TV. Born in Florida on the 11th December 1981 his parents tell of stories of him follow local TV crews around the whole town in order to get footage of news reports. He would use this footage to make TV news reports in his bedroom. Kennedy actually went on to expand on his love of TV report by constructing his own TV studio in his home. The studio actually consisted of 21 televisions, a news desk, 4 cameras and a editing work desk. However it was not just at home that Kennedy chased this dream, he is a graduate of the University Of Miami. The popular student received a number of awards during his time at the University including an award for the Best News Feature in the State of Florida given by the Associated Press. Kennedy really threw himself into student life and presented campus-based television show "Storm Front" for most of the time he was a student. He landed his first presenting job on national television when he was just 17. He was chosen to present for the American One Television Network on a show called Too Hot For Ice. Soon after graduation Jason took a big step and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career. He managed to get a job on the TV Guide Channel anchoring segments for the Open Call TV program. A year later he joined the E! Networks team and this is where his career has really taken off. As well as being a weekend anchor for the E! News, e did a stint hosting the Daily 10 show and also hosted a special on Anna Nicole smith's dearth in 2007 called "Last Bride Standing". It was just 3 short years later in 2008 that Kennedy hosted his first major primetime show. He made his debut on ABC with the Dance Machine Show. Throughout his TV career he has presented a massive range of specials and new reports, everything ranging from Paris Hilton and her visit to Beverley Hills to Present Clinton visiting Miami. It seems that TV presenting may run in the Kennedy family's veins, as his sister Kelli is a reporter for the Associated Press in Miami. Kennedy is some one who definitely had a career in television mapped out for him. Since a young age he has mocked TV shows and recordings, all through university he worked hard at his career and it has played off. He is now one of the most recognizable faces on US television with stints presenting the likes of American Idol Rewind. He is quite secretive about his personal life and has not married and has no children to date.
