The story line of Teen Wolf starts with a young boy, that comes across as being incredibly awkward. He is attacked by a werewolf and gets the curse himself. That is not all though, the curse is just the beginning, as the enemies that come with the curse are going to be the biggest problem of all. The plot is fairly basic, although it incorporates some good twists that keep viewers entertained throughout.
Teen Wolf could certainly be considered to be a success. They have managed to incorporate special effects in the right places, unlike many other recent TV series that have incorporated special effects that are over the top and simply do not do the job effectively. The first episode is surprisingly good, which gets people really thinking and really starting to get hooked ready for the next one.
The acting throughout Teen Wolf whilst it is not exceptional, it is high quality which makes for some easy viewing. The acting is focused on being fairly dark and on the edge, which creates a lot of tension with every passing episode. That being said, the plot is surprisingly simple and predictable to begin with, but this soon changes as there is a lot more than meets the eye when it comes to Teen Wolf.
In particular, Stiles is a great character and the acting is extremely good. A lot of people tend to be drawn to this TV series, simply because of the quality of a few characters and Stiles is certainly one of them.
Teen Wolf is always going to be compared to the likes of Twilight. The reality is that this is not in the same league as Twilight, it is actually better. The acting in Twilight needs some work, where as the acting throughout Teen Wolf is actually impressive. The focus throughout this is completely different as well. The focus of this story is Scott and his ongoing battle as he transforms into a wolf.
There is no doubt that this show has potential to be bigger and better. The fact of the matter is that this show has some development to go through to be considered exceptional, but it is certainly getting there. As time progresses, it is likely that each episode will unfold and more and more plot twists and turns will meet the eye. This is certainly a show that is worth watching.
